Cantilever scaffolding is a separate
scaffold constructed to angle out from a building.
This Cantilever Scaffolding is used when obstacles on
the ground or narrow pathways prevent basing the
scaffolding on the ground. Cantilever scaffolds are
easy to erect and can support an average workman and
supplies.
Scaffolding is perfectly acceptable when there is a
clear area to construct the tower, when there area has
obstacles such as a sloping roof, glazed roof or a
weak surface it simply doesn’t work.
